/Cimarron Hills of Colorado Springs was named the 3rd least expensive suburb in the nation, according to Movoto. Cost of living, food and utility costs, housing affordability, property tax rates and state income tax rates and sales tax, were all considered in the review of 139 suburbs of the 50 largest cities in the United States, using the Census as a source. The study found that Cimarron Hills’ cost of living is 6 points below the national average, while property taxes are 53% below the national average.
